Energy Star — EPA

The Energy Star seal of energy efficiency was invented to encourage us to protect our environment by saving energy at both home and work.  Across all major national markets, Dan Reeves (CD/copy) and I developed the integrated PSA awareness campaign, which was composed of television, online, print, radio and direct mail. The campaign launched the brand theme: “Change.” It quickly transformed markets by providing a relevant message that tugged at the public’s heartstrings, as well as their purse strings. The campaign won EPA’s National ENERGY STAR Award for Best Consumer Awareness Advertising Campaign two years in a row.
